IK
Multimedia has long kicked down some serious software effect, instrument, sampler and mastering emulators —

in the last milleneum — IK now offers a whole new expanded collection of software samplers,
synths, virtual effects modules and sample libraries that are cross compatible
with non-IK apps.

You can buy IK apps in stand alone form or for use as plug-ins within a separate app. You can also buy IK plug-ins in bulk through a
bundle. The Studio Bundle includes IK’s powerful guitar amp and effects plug-in,
AmpliTube; SampleTank 2 XL— a plug-in sound module with 1,500 kickass
sounds; and the infamous analog-modeled, all-in-one mastering plug-in, T-RackS.
These apps and plug-ins are also available for purchase separately.

IK also offers Sonik Synth 2, a synth workstation with over 5,000 sounds and eight
gigs of samples. This virtual 16 parts sample-based synth gives you 32 built-in
DSP effects (five per instrument). |
You can also get IK sound samples, called
“Sonik Capsules” in bulk, or separately. Sonik Capsules work in the
most popular software samplers including SampleTank, HALion,
exS24, Kontakt, Battery, Reason and others.
