With the i88X,
Yamaha
delivers an mLAN-based Audio and MIDI interface with 2 mic and 6 line inputs that
give you 24 bit/96 kHz conversion. The i88x also features ADAT light pipe
compatibility and 18 simultaneous inputs and outputs via SPDIF I/O.
The input channels on this puppy feature extremely high-performance head amps,
designed by the same engineers who developed the DM2000 and 02R96 consoles. And
the head amps on the i88x are said to rival some of the more expensive mic
preamps around.
